LEAD COPYWRITER/EDITOR

  • Mentored and maintained a team of 30+ writers and editors on brand standards and voice in a high-volume e-commerce environment by writing and delivering monthly quality reviews with constructive feedback.

  • Collaborated with copywriters, designers, merchants and other stakeholders in handoff meetings and internal reviews to product visually and textually compelling site treatments for the Zulily homepage.

  • Oversaw a major brand voice shift, updating quality review rubrics and style guides accordingly and hosting regular peer reviews to ensure a seamless transition and successful rollout.

  • Wrote copy for 140-165 PDP pages per day for a variety of product types including apparel, accessories, consumables and home goods in adherence with brand voice guidelines and the AP style guide.

  • Edited copy written by third-party vendors to ensure consistency between freelance and in-house product copy across the site.
